| October is nearly upon us - so would like some ideas as to what cadets wish to do for their end of year Xmas Party. Sensible ideas please - with reasonable costs! | |

| well for kids (under 18 or with nus card) best prices seems to be Day fee + Gas + Overalls + 500 balls
for £34
while adults get Day fee + Gas + Overalls + 1000 balls
for £55
i may be able to shave around 10% off that so lets assume we got a potential £30 and £50 entrance fee plus extra money for those trigger happy paintballers and hungry people

| Paintball would oviously need to be at a weekend but more inportantly- it has to be done as a private event as it isn't and never will be covered by ATC insurance.
We've done it before but we can't really ask for the committee to subsidise it, as they would normally do for a Christmas party, as it is not an ATC endorsed event.

| yea a disco, or as you out it a rave, is expensive, unless you do it at the squadron but dont think there is enough room, R.Pursey is a dj with decks and that. I think quazar is better idea than paintball, less expensive as christmass is an expensive time and you can do it on a mon/thurs and not a weekend, and the girls would do it too! | |

| BB and Miss Godwin can only take NCO's if nec..... I can take 4. We will be able to arrange that nearer the time... but remember cost and location is the main factor. As suggested above, I can get hold of equipment for a karaoke so you can hold a party at the squadron. I have made a few enquiries for some cool activities... will share the info when I get a price guide returned. A clue.... Tigger. | |

| Thanks for all your comments on this - always good if we make a decision based on what cadets what.
Having said that....
We can arrange paintball for in the New Year - it's always quiet then - but I'm conscious of the cost and also it's not everyone's cup of tea. (Least of all mine - not enough fat you see to cushion the blow).
I was mainly talking about what we could do on the last parade night of 2006 that everyone can enjoy. I quite like the idea of the roller quaser.
Looking for a volunteer anyway to organise cadets???

Your requests should be put forward to staff this Thursday (02 November 06) evening at the end of play. Thank you to all that got involved giving there ideas and suggestions.
