Saturday 19 May - Brentwood Map Ex

Sat 2 + Sun 3 June - Practice Expedition (Gilwell Park)

Sat 30 June + Sun 1 July - Real Expedition (Thaxted)

A few points:-

You need to have preferably attended either the Epping Forest navigation training or the Brentwood map-ex as it is important that you are of the correct standard. Otherwise you may have to do your expedition later in the year.
You must complete the practice expedition to do your real expedition. And yes - you can fail both the practice and the real expeditions. For example you could be failed for poor route cards, bad navigational errors, poor campcraft, incorrect kit, poor morale and split groups.
Letters + consent forms will go out shortly and kit checks will follow.
You need a DofE book in order to get your qualification! Come and buy them from me for £11.50.
