Fundrasing!!

I was thinking maybe another fundrasing event for the squadron, but i need ideas as to what to fund it for, like have a motive like last time it was the mini bus... we do need new tents, preferably not orange and now weighing more than 3stone lol...

Bike riding event again i did not take part in the last one but am more than willing to either help run or try run an event!!

recruits that are just getting involved properly can take part also once enrolled?? i dont know when they are getting enrolled?? could go towards food in the canteen!!! (that should get a response!!)hehe

any thoughts from the floor?? would be appreciated...

A new mini bus sound like a good way to go... if we look at raising enough for the end of next year if we hit this project hard

Yea a good amount could be raised if we publish it enough!! i dont know how much minibusses usually cost so im on that one lol

If we look at raising £18,000 that would give you a starter for your ideas

i second that, but how much if it for a new tyre again? or is we break down or the bolts holding the back on comes loose?? its will be a nightmare to maintain, other than that... im all in (",)

On the tents Philo, I do have funding through Jack Petchey to buy quite a bit of new AT kit, including tents, which I'll be purchasing over the winter.

The new tents will be lighter but we will continue to use the orange force 10s for the foreseable future, as they are still very effective and are the only affordable high-mountain tents we are ever likely to be able to buy!

Unless, of course you'd care to make a donation and we can do £400 quid a time on some high spec replacements?!

I already started organising a 5 aside i just need to show the civilian committee (if that how you spell it) and that should bring in a few bob seen as everyone love footy lol anyone can make a team so wwooooooohhhhhhhhooooooooooooooooo so i would think of making a team soon
