PostSubject: Innes Sword   Mon 2 Oct 2006 - 18:12

As I'm not going to be down tonight, can I take this oportunity to congratulate the Innes Sword team who came SECOND in London Wing this weekend.

This is an outstanding acheivement and a reflection of the excelent teamwork, leadership and dedication displayed by the team in the run up to and during the event and the training by the team coach, Miss Godwin.

The standard of other teams was exceptionally high this year which makes it all the better.

Make no mistake- this means that we are the second best Squadron out of 30 Squadrons in London Wing- no less than that- and second to a Squadron with 150 cadets on the books.

Keep up this standard and lets get used to winning!

PostSubject: INNESS SWORD 2007   Tue 15 May 2007 - 17:52

Thanks for the reminder!

I refer you to my previous post after we came 2nd last year. The staff and SNCOs ARE ALREADY in the process of selecting people for the Inness Sword Team for 2007.

You will need to be physically very fit and competent at drill, first aid, command tasks, speed marching, navigation and of course the obstacle course.

Committment, Determination and Enthusiasm are essential qualities.

Must be able to attend the Competition weekend on:-

FRIDAY 21 - SUNDAY 23 SEPTEMBER 2007

Please let the team manager, CWO Bollen if you think you could be part of the winning team!

Team to be announced at beginning of June 2007.
