			<description>What with the new induction of ACP16 and the new squadron patch, this is a fantastic opportunity for First Class cadets and above, to attend a fieldcraft training weekend to familiarise themselves with the new ACP16. With successful completion of this weekend, cadets will be issue the new squadron fieldcraft patch.



The weekend will involve sleeping under the stars, setting up harbours and with routine patrols, use of observation posts, stalking, silent and night movement and much much more.  ...</description>

The training took place at Brunswick Camp, ATR Pirbright, over the weekend of the 12th and 13th of January. The weekend was designed to provide two streams of training:



*Cadets who were not trained on the L98-A1 weapon were taken through the Initial Weapons Training, Weapons Handling Tests and then shooting on both short and long ranges.



*Cadets who were trained on the L98-A1 were taken through the Young Lifesaver Plus training followed by shooting on both short and long ranges.

			<description>As I'm not going to be down tonight, can I take this oportunity to congratulate the Innes Sword team who came SECOND in London Wing this weekend.



This is an outstanding acheivement and a reflection of the excelent teamwork, leadership and dedication displayed by the team in the run up to and during the event and the training by the team coach, Miss Godwin. 



The standard of other teams was exceptionally high this year which makes it all the better.
